Generally most of the lads on here fully avoid tubbed adhesives so they know they can grout as soon as possible, and due to a cement-based adhesives range of uses and better thickness tolerances and the likes.
That said, I used to use tubbed adhesive as often as I could on plasterboard as a thin bed on a fully tiled bathroom can save you a little time providing the last day or half day is grouting only meaning it has had drying time.
