When is cyber katarina coming out
It can be good against burst-heavy champions such as LeBlanc, Zed, and Syndra. It will also be good on specific champions that tend to rely on life steal like Draven and Samira. All new items are currently available for testing on the live servers while Riot is looking to balance all changes before the official start of season 11 kicks off in January The Stratus membership will come with all sorts of Cloud9 physical and digital goodies.
On the digital front, members will gain access to a private Discord server, a custom Twitter banner, a complementary FACEIT premium membership, access to Stratus community tournaments, roundtable discussions with members of the Cloud9 organization, and other member-only digital content. As far as physical merchandise goes, members of Stratus Cloud9 club will be sent a welcome crate in early January. This crate contains a number of exclusive products for Cloud9 fans, such as a Stratus mousepad, a custom C9 keycap set for mechanical keyboards, a Stratus keychain, an exclusive Cloud9 t-shirt, and finally an exclusive Stratus edition Cloud9 jersey.
After the welcome crate, there will be two further C9 mystery crates that will be delivered throughout , each containing a random assortment of Cloud9 items. Those items could include hats, shirts, shoes, or even LCS Finals tickets according to the Stratus website. A total of 10 champions will receive new in-game cosmetics, judging from the latest Public Beta Environment update. Furthermore, Lissandra will be receiving a Dark Cosmetic skin while Soraka will get a Prestige Star Guardian skin to spice the supportive healer up even more.
There are also currently two Dark Cosmic skins in the game including Lux and Jhin. The new skins will be available for testing on PBE until they hit live servers. With this many new skins, Riot is delivering on its recent skin update where it seemed like the initial goal of new skins in would be exceeded. Riot has also clearly focused on giving some forgotten champions a skin before the end of the year. Champions such as Skarner and Illaoi rarely receive new skins. Illaoi currently has just two skins available in the shop, despite being released five years ago.
All skins are expected to arrive on live servers with patch The ranked season is officially over and on the EU West server, a Janna one-trick has officially gone down as the top-ranked player of season The race for the top spot on the EUW server is always competitive and full of action when the season is coming to an end. This year, a Danish solo queue prodigy came out on top by only playing Janna. Instead, they seem to be a casual player that mastered Janna throughout the season to great effect.
Reaching rank one only on Janna is impressive on its own, but the stats speak for themselves. The players from the Prime League have seemingly been grinding while most other professional players are on break or attended the World Championship.
While the ranked queue enters the preseason, players will have time to adjust to the preseason patch that will go live on November On November 9, he began a broadcast in which he aimed to take the top 1 in the regional ladder a few hours before the end of the season. His attempt to top the rankings for one evening became the main topic of discussion in the community.
Mago is well known in Brazil as one of the most talented and promising young players in League of Legends. He had previously streamed his matches on Twitch, but the maximum online on his channel barely exceeded 10 thousand people. When the gamer started the ladder marathon, some American clubs supported him by posting a link to the Mago channel on their social networks. As a result, the audience of the year-old gamer has grown tenfold, and his stream was simultaneously watched by almost thousand viewers.
According to Mago, he did not expect this kind of attention to his stream. The player talked a lot with the audience, simultaneously climbing to the top of the rating.
By the end of the stream marathon, he managed to take the first place in the ladder on the Brazilian server and finish the season as the leader. The gamer himself said that on this day he was "the happiest of people. In total, Thieves won just seven games throughout the summer. It remains to be seen which team Cody Sun will join next, but owing to his status as a consistent bot laner, he should be a competitive signing for the LCS season.
Lira will be sharing responsibilities with former Dignitas assistant coach Han "Rigby" Earl. Just days after the announcement of the LCK season franchises , the teams are ready to make moves.
Afreeca Freecs took the community by surprise when it confirmed the departure of long-time head coach Choi "iloveoov" Yeon-sung. Iloveoov is a pioneer in the LCK, being one of the first coaches to successfully use a man roster and taking Afreeca Freecs to the League of Legends World Championship in In the following years, iloveoov took a back seat and let the assistant coaches be the ones appearing on stage.
Lira is returning to the professional stage after a brief time as an analyst on the LCK broadcast. Still, those contracts are not final and the team might look to add new pieces.
Kiin is highly valued by Afreeca Freecs, as the organization reportedly signed a multi-million dollar contract to keep him. Kiin is regarded as one of the best top laners in the world and a reliable piece for the organization. Afreeca Freecs could be looking to build a new roster around its star, or it could also be looking to start the new era of the LCK with a clean slate.
The LCK has an outstanding crop of rookie players every year who are ready to prove their worth on stage. All of these rookies are now free agents and could take a spot on the LCK stage.
The German mid laner has reportedly declined his player option and will therefore be a free agent when the player free agency window begins on November There is still a chance that PowerOfEvil will return to FlyQuest but it will require a new deal with the organization. PowerOfEvil will likely be one of the most coveted LCS free agents this offseason after playing well throughout the season. Those performances earned the team a ticket to the World Championship , a first for the organization.
Santorin recently announced that he will also enter the offseason as a free agent , which means that the dynamic duo will likely be split in As PowerOfEvil goes looking for new possible options in , several LCS teams could be interested in picking him up. Other teams in the LCS are also likely to rebuild in the offseason. Fans will likely learn more about his future team after November According to Travis Gafford, the LCS will be restructured for the next season in a number of different ways.
This includes a merger of the spring and summer splits, new tournaments, and an expansion of the academy system. The removal of the spring split is the most eye-catching change. The LCS has used a few different systems for determining its qualifying entrants to the World Championship, working with a circuit system through Championship Points in and shifting to sending top teams from the summer split in Alongside this is a larger schedule that will see five round robins in the new season instead of four divided between two splits.
There is no word on whether pro players will have any sort of extra compensation to account for the additional games. Before the season begins, a new tournament will also be introduced. The LCS will move to a more open format that incorporates academy teams with amateur and semi-pro teams seen in events such as the Upsurge Premier League and the Legends Weekend League. This will likely see LCS teams change how they approach developing talent, with Gafford stating that teams will likely take a page from the book of Thieves.
This could result in a tiered farm system similar to that of Major League Baseball. None of these changes have been confirmed by Riot Games and the company refused comment. LCS fans are already buckled in for the roster shuffle period that kicks off later this month, but bigger announcements are likely to follow. Kotaku reporters noticed that Shanghai-based Infinity Studio has opened a pre-order for a miniature replica of Irelia from League of Legends.
The figure is about 63 centimeters high and is limited to copies. She then worked in the HR team of a small IT company and later she took on an executive assistant role. She, in fact, joined Metro Bank, as an executive assistant but she always knew that she wanted to do something more than what this role allowed or had scope for.
It was around this time, when Katarina was deciding her next career move, that somebody in Metro Bank who headed the testing team approached her to work for him, to coordinate the environments team.
Her job was to understand the requests coming through for the environments team for testing. About two years into this role, another colleague at Metro Bank reached out to Katarina to implement certain sets of controls to ensure that the environments that were using certain kinds of data were monitored more closely and, in addition, to see which colleagues were accessing these environments.
Thanks to this experience, she was asked by the said colleague to take up his job in the IT Governance team, which is the role she is in now. Katarina now plays a critical role in IT controls management for the bank, providing assurance on control performance. After a recent round of restructuring, she is now also assisting with IT risk management for the bank. Not technical knowledge, but technical understanding, says Katarina, is crucial to success in the infosec business today.
Katarina is also part of the networking group — Ladies of London Hacking Society - which supports women in cybersecurity or anyone who wants to learn hacking. The group is growing month by month which obviously demonstrates that women, in the UK at least, no longer perceive cyber or hacking roles as a preserve of men! While the number of women in cybersecurity is increasing every day, the main position that Katarina and Carole hold is simple — There are tons of jobs waiting to be filled in cybersecurity divisions across the globe.
As long as you speak a common language, love to learn, challenge yourself, know how to keep your calm when the storm hits and are a hard-working person, you should look at a career in cybersecurity with deep seriousness. When it comes to women, I make no qualms about it - no woman should ever be helpless or subservient to a male, now and in the future.
However, I am also a firm believer in merit and meritocracy, regardless of gender or sex, and, currently, there seems to be an urgency to balance the scales in the domain of cybersecurity. As much as building a strong foundation takes time, building a pipeline of talent and skilled resources takes time too and it has to start from the younger years.
All organisations interested in building a strong and vibrant cybersecurity team must encourage internal upskilling - as Metro Bank did with Katarina.
Furthermore, they should encourage existing employees in IT and cyber to help and support others when they embark on a new journey with a new role. However, all of this encouragement and upskilling must be focussed on merit alone, in my opinion, and not on the gender, race, age or creed of the employee in question. We will continue to reach out to all professionals in our vast network, including women, men and folks from the BAME community amongst others.
In a nutshell, everyone in cybersecurity and privacy who has a story to tell and an interesting journey to share, will be featured on cm-alliance. Their stories can inspire others to widen their horizons and take on challenges that they may not even have imagined confronting otherwise! Show comments. Contact us. Like this article?
